Jennifer Lopez ended her tour with Marc Anthony in Puerto Rico

Not just because the last show was in Puerto Rico…nope, it was even more familiar than that!

She closed her shows holding hands with Marc Anthony!!

Jen sang and danced and then came out on stage to speak with the audience and said:

“For me, this tour has been a journey of love and pleasure, and it’s been a pleasure to end it in Puerto Rico and, as you all know, the great journeys of love, even with they end, the music goes on.”

That’s when she surprised everyone by inviting Marc on stage and singing No Me Ames with him!

Those words mean so much more now that they aren’t together. Like for real, no me ames.

Drake Hoping To Cash In On His Popular “YOLO” Phrase, Looking For Checks From Walgreens, Macy’s

The phrase “YOLO” may have been a runner-up in the “Trend We’d Like To See Die” category in the 2012 HipHopDX Year End Awards, but despite that, Canadian artist Drake is still hoping to cash in on the popular phrase he created.

Serving as an acronym for “you only live once,” “YOLO” has been plastered on all types of apparel throughout the year, but over the week the immense use of the phrase seemed to really spark the Young Money artist’s attention.

Using the Instagram handle, @champagnepapi, Drake posted pictures of two separate items that featured the “YOLO” phrase.

The first picture, which showed about 16 hats with the “YOLO” phrase on them was taken at Walgreens and also included this comment from Drake, “Walgreens….you gotta either chill or cut the cheque.” In a second picture taken from the rapper, this time at Macy’s, a t-shirt with the phrase “YOLO Is My Motto” along with Snoopy and Charlie Brown was pictured along with the caption, “Macy’s…same goes for you.”

As of now it’s unclear what steps Drake would have to take to see any profit from any apparel which uses the “YOLO” phrase.

The Courts Tell Game To Pay Up!

Game’s pockets just got a little emptier. The courts put the ruling down that Game has to cough up $5 Million dollars in compensatory damages to five Greensboro, NC police officers for an incident that took place in 2005.

As the story goes, Game was supposed to perform a set at the Four Seasons Mall. Things got out of hand and Game was arrested on site for disorderly conduct, criminal trespassing, and communicating threats. All while this was going on, Game’s camp captured footage of the whole thing.

The footage was later released in 2006 on Game’s DVD Stop Snitchin’, Stop Lyin’. The five officers who were shown in the video said it was “heavily edited” to make it appear as if Game was wrongfully arrested. Their argument was that they were wrongfully portrayed and the courts just recently awarded each officer $1 Million for compensatory damages.

The bad news doesn’t end there. The officers are also asking for an additional $10 Million in punitive damages and that case will require a new trial to be conducted.

For Game’s sake, I hope he’s not the typical rapper who’s just splurging their money on cars and cribs. These cops ain’t playing, so hopefully he has stacks in the bank. I”m sure we’ll hear more on this in the future.
